QuantumX and UW MEM-C Partner for Winter Symposium

Over 100 attendees met in Kane Hall to view the current research of UW graduate students and post-docs contributing to quantum-based sciences and technologies.

UW MEM-C is a National Science Foundation Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) whose goals are to expand the reach of Quantum Materials, Develop a materials education ecosystem rooted in the Pacific Northwest, and, fostering a materials science community by providing access to shared facilities, and building partnerships

QuantumX was established as an interdisciplinary institute that seeks to advance and integrate QISE research, education, and commercialization across the UW community and its partners. It brings together QISE researchers and educators from across campus to foster new collaborative initiatives, nurture our vibrant quantum ecosystem, and educate students for a quantum-ready society.
